An update on the new healing garden at Kline Galland Home
Followers of our Facebook page may already be aware of this, but there are some exciting changes happening at the Kline Galland Home! This February, we embarked on a partnership with the University of Washington Department of Landscape Architecture to create a healing garden for our residents, patients, staff and volunteers. Working with these amazing students has been an incredible experience and we are honored with the level of consideration and care that they have dedicated to this project.
We hope this healing garden brings a sense of joy, tranquility, and peace to all who visit. It is still under construction and is scheduled to be finished this summer.
Below are photos we have taken along the way to document the progress of the project, Thank you again to the University of Washington Department of Landscape Architecture. We cannot wait to see your vision of the Marty Bender Family Garden come to life! Special thank you to Josh and Talia Bender, whose generosity in honor of their late Uncle, Martin “Marty” Bender, made this project possible.
