Kline Galland is officially kicking off our new Mitzvah Mailings program! Sending in crafty cards and loving letters is a great way to lift the spirits of our community with just a small gesture.

Who can participate and how?

We welcome individuals of all ages to share cards, notes, letters, drawings, or other expressions of inspiration and loving-kindness to continue to remind our residents just how much you care and that you are thinking of them.

Helpful Tips

  • These cards and letters will be shared with our residents, so feel free to begin with “Dear Friend” or a simple “Hello”
  • Our residents would also love to know who sent them, so please feel free to add your first name!
  • A handwritten note is a thoughtful, personal touch
  • Feel free to get creative! Any messages of positivity are most welcome– including notes, drawings, bright cards, words of inspiration…or whatever else you’re drawn to!

We will post pictures of Mitzvah Mailings as we receive them, and will distribute the love among our residents at both Kline Galland Home and Mary Schwartz Summit (formerly known as The Summit at First Hill).

To participate, please send your creations to Alyssa Bobman Cohen at Kline Galland Home, 7500 Seward Park Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98118.  Please remember to share your acts of loving-kindness to our community by tagging us @klinegalland
