The Secondary Century of Kline Galland Care

Kline Galland has been a fixture in the Greater Seattle senior care community for 105 years. To put that into perspective, consider this – 1914 was when World War I consumed Europe, the Panama Canal opened to traffic and, yes, baseball legend Babe Ruth made his major league debut.
And here we are, now in our second century of care. As Kline Galland thrives and evolves, we get word that 15 skilled nursing facilities in our State have closed in the past 15 months alone. We are saddened for those communities; yet we also take great pride that Kline Galland continues to be in unprecedented demand. We are in this position because of the great care delivered by a loving staff, a diversified array of developing services and fiscally responsible management by generations of community leaders and volunteers.
Our Rehab center is the largest in Washington. Our Community Based Services bring Kline Galland to residences throughout King County – home care, home health, palliative care and hospice. State-of-the-art Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Support are trademarks of The Summit at First Hill. We are investing in our facilities as evidenced by our capital projects underway at Kline Galland Home, including renovation of the dining room, creation of a new synagogue dedicated to our Foundation President Emeritus Josh Gortler and more — all made possible by generous donations from community members.
