Celebrating Social Workers and Collaborative Teams in Senior Care
March 31, 2026 | Benaroya Community Services, Health & Wellness, Kline Galland Home, Kline Galland Staff, Mary Schwartz Summit

This Social Work Month, we’re celebrating the social workers at Kline Galland and the compassionate care teams they work alongside. Every resident, patient, family member, and staff interaction is supported by a network of professionals. From nurses and caregivers to therapists and support staff, we work together to ensure every experience is thoughtful, coordinated, and caring. Social workers play an important role in this collaborative effort, helping residents, patients, and families navigate transitions, access resources, and feel supported.
Compassion in action
Supporting patients and residents with holistic care
Kline Galland social workers help residents and patients adjust to changes while considering emotional, social, and practical needs. They guide them through new routines, advocate for their care preferences, and connect them with programs or resources that enhance quality of life. At the same time, nurses, caregivers, therapists, and support staff bring their own expertise, creating a collaborative environment where every person in our care feels supported physically, emotionally, and socially.
Collaborating with families and staff
As an integral part of our community of compassionate caregivers, Kline Galland social workers work alongside the full care team to provide clarity and reassurance for the family along the way. Working closely with colleagues, social workers help align care plans, clarify next steps, and make transitions less stressful. Their role strengthens communication and collaboration, benefiting both staff and families while reinforcing the Kline Galland’s emphasis on creating a care environment of dignity and respect.
Together in care
Social Work Month is a time to recognize the small, thoughtful gestures that make life in senior care feel personal and supportive. From checking in with a resident or patient to guiding a family through a transition, social workers notice the moments that help people feel understood and secure.
This month, we celebrate the dedication, insight, and empathy of social workers at Kline Galland, and the meaningful difference they help make alongside their colleagues every day.
